They have a remote control feature with a cellphone app to manage the temperaures independently for both compartments.

Cold temperature flows down by gravity. If you cchoose a convensional swing door fridge, once you open the door, all the cold air will drain down and out from the fridge, loosing energy and the compressor requires to run more time to reach the set temperature again, representing energy lost.

If you open and close the frigde a couple of times a day, using a 200Ah battery you could run the fridge between 2 to 3 days. 

In case you don’t open the fridge frequently, the unit will turn to ECO mode, cycling the compressor and extend the battery capacity up to a week before having to charge it again.
